Hi all! I’m back with this fun dragon treasure card!
I had the ‘Critters Ever After’ in my stash for a while now. But I didn’t have the dies till recently. Physically it hurts me when I have to fussy cut so I try to prevent that. So of course, when I got the dies I just had to make a card using my favorite of the set; the dragon!
I wanted to create a cave where the dragon would guard the treasure. I started out with gathering some images for the treasures. I decided to stamp those in the color I’m using to coloring it in, to make them look more special.
Then I blended a background and made the hill, but I was missing the feel of the dragon being in a cave. I was discussing with my husband how I could achieve it. By going through my stash, we came to the conclusion I just needed to make a ceiling from the cave!
In the video and on the photo’s you don’t fully see how much shine there is on the card, but you have to believe me (and try it out yourself!) how stunning it is.
