Halloween week – Card #2 – Trick or Treat!

Hi everybody! No video today, but I do share this card with you for some Halloween inspiration… Also, there is a free cut file available!

I used the ‘Cloudy Stencil’ and ‘Costume Party’ from Lawn Fawn to create this simple card. I think the houses look great in this scene and together with the gorgeous sunset clouds it still is a spectacular card to send!

I worked hard to make the cut file as good as I can. It includes the houses as a silhouette, the houses with the windows cut out and a piece you can layer behind that to let the houses light up.

Also, I’ve put in different sizes of the houses so they will fit different sized cards. European, US, slimline, portrait or landscape, all is covered.
It’s made in a way that the base is slightly larger so it can be hand cut by size or with a die. Like in my example, I’ve used the double stitched rectangle to also cut out the base of the houses.

Here’s another card I made with cut file:

I used the first slimline set from CarlijnDesign to make a slimline. The images are from ‘Me and My Dragon’ and ‘Dragon Wishes’ from Mama Elephant. I also used my free mountain cut file I shared earlier!

I make these free cut files to give something to the crafting community. That’s why I also teamed up with some people from the community to give you even more inspiration! Here it comes!

Steph (@whirledofpapercraft) made this wonderful card with the most amazing sky! The houses really pop on that sky!

Aline (@aline_unat) made this gorgeous scene! She made the houses smaller (that’s possible, because the cut file is a .svg!) to be super cute on this card! Do you see that gorgeous sky?!

Meagan (@scrappygolucky) made this super pretty scrapbook page! I love how she used the houses to decorate the background!

Well, here it comes! The free cut file!
If you want to share it too, please share the link to this blog post and don’t share the file itself.

It’s definitely not mandatory to do so, but if you like my content you can consider to donate (whatever you can miss!) so I can keep improving my content. Thank you.
