Card making – Lawn Fawn Home sweet home

Hi everybody! I’m back with some card inspiration for you. I needed some new home cards and since I recently found the ‘Home Sweet Home’ set from Lawn Fawn, I couldn’t wait to create something with those stamps!
The set is retired but you might have it in your stash already. Or you might be able to substitute some images!

The design for this card isn’t super new for this set. If you look at the design team examples from this set when it came out quite some years ago, the basic design is the same.

But what I did was look how I could spice it up a little and bring it up to a newer style. That’s why I used the branches and leaves from ‘A Bugs Deal’ instead of those from ‘Home Sweet Home’, to have them a little bigger and with some variation.

Although the cloudy backgrounds have been around for some time now, the colored clouds bring the card to a more modern style. Same goes for the splattering on the background and the use of stitched details!

Below is an overview of all the supplies I used. I’m not listing things like the type of scissors that I used because I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask!
