Card making – Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Fairy Foxy

Hi everybody! I’ve got another video for you. I’m making this Reveal Wheel card where I use the wheel to make the scene interactive instead of using it for sentiments.

The idea of the fox catching the fairies with the net is based on a card from Megan Quinn. She makes wonderful cards and this card idea has been stuck in my head for a while.

I recently got the dies for ‘Butterfly Kisses’ so I decided to finally make a card myself!

I wanted to take it a step further and combine it with a magical surrounding and I thought it would be fun to see fairies, instead of butterflies, that go into the net by paper piecing a vellum net!

Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not listing things like scissors and such since I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Yay, Kites!

Hi everyone! I’m back with another video. In this video, I make two cards with the same Lawn Fawn set. It’s the somewhat older set ‘Yay, Kites!’.

I’m a huge fan of the new ‘Swish ‘n Pop Pull Tab’ die set, which you can use to make a fun interactive card. On one of the cards, I used this die set to let the squirrel with the kite pop up from behind the clouds!

I also made a simple card without any interactive elements. It uses some of the same supplies so it’s kind of easy to make two cards in one go.

Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not listing things like scissors and such since I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Chameleon forrest

Hello everybody! I’ve got a new video for you. This time, I made a stamped background which involves some masking. I’m not the best at masking, but this wasn’t too hard so I’m sure you can do it too.

I’m using the new ‘One In A Chameleon Flip-Flop’ set from Lawn Fawn together with the original set. I use ‘A Bug Deal’ and ‘Hey Lady’ to make the background and the rest of the scene.

I’m really glad how it turned out and it sure motivated me to try out some more masking in the future.

Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not listing things like scissors and such since I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Message in the sky

Hello everybody! I’ve got another card for you, this time it’s a thank you card I made with the help of Lawn Fawn’s ‘Plane and Simple’, ‘Over the Mountains Borders’ and ‘Winter Village’.

Normally I use at least some (thin) foam tape on my cards, to add some depth. On this card everything is glued on without any foam tape.
I used some visual tricks though to achieve visual depth.

In my video I tell you what all these tricks are so that you can use them yourself.
Also, this card is quite quick and easy because it only uses a few stamps to create the scene.

Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not listing things like scissors and such since I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Fairy surprise

Hi everyone! Recently I got the Magic Iris with Add-on from Lawn Fawn, so it was time for me to make a video with it.

Play the video above to see how the Magic Iris opens!

I actually based this card on a card I made about a year ago, when the Magic Iris came out. I didn’t have the die sets, yet everybody did (at least, it felt like that) and I had massive FOMO. So, I made a card to give me same kind of feel but without it being a Magic Iris.

Here are the two cards right after each other. Both are, in my opinion, great cards. But it’s fun to see the differences!

I made this card in March 2020
I made this card with the Magic Iris in February 2021

Card making – Lawn Fawn Hap-pea gnomes

Hello lovely people! I’ve got a new video for you all! I’ve made this cute little scene where the gnomes help each other to harvest some peas at nighttime, when the people won’t see them.

I used a few different sets to create the stalks for the beans, I love how those turned out!
As always, I show you every step I took to make this card in my video, but I wanted to highlight here that I also show you how to color in the beans like there are ready-to-harvest peas inside.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Underwater wishes

Good day everyone! I’m back with another card making video. I made a card based on the Space party card I did earlier. I wanted to show you how you can re-use a card design, but make a whole other card out of it by changing the theme and some details.

I used the same technique of not making a full scene, but a partial scene by adding a strip. On my previous card it was a strip of galaxy which I now turned into a strip of ocean.

Also, I changed up some colors and details. For the card base I used a textured paper and I stamped the background in a different color.
I changed the color scheme of the images and sentiment as well.

I also changed up the sentiment, but it still has the same general idea as it did before; a ‘Scripty’ word die from Lawn Fawn combined with a stamped word.

Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not listing things like scissors and such since I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Valentine hedgehogs

Hello everyone! It’s almost Valentine’s day, which means you maybe would need some inspiration for Valentine cards. Well, search no more, because here it is!

I joined the Valentine’s Day YouTube Hop that Katy (@hooklineandinker) organized. In this hop, there are 20 video’s for you from 20 different people to watch for inspiration! Isn’t that great?!

There also is a give away linked to the hop, given out by Katy as well.
You can find more details about that in the description of my video.

So, about the card I made. I wanted to make something cute and simple, because you might want to send out a few, right?

Of course there still are some steps to take, but you could definitely do these in a small production line if you would want to.

Do you want to have some variation? No problem! You could easily change the contents of the snow globe as simple as changing the critters to different ones!

Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not listing things like scissors and such since I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Card making – Lawn Fawn Space party

Happy Monday all! It’s the time of the week again that I have a new video for you. This time, I made a birthday card using Lawn Fawn’s ‘Out of This World’ stamp set, together with the big ‘Scripty Birthday’ sentiment.

Instead of a making a full scene, I decided to make a strip of galaxy. The rest of the paper is stamped with images from the set in a grey ink.

In the video, I show you how to make a galaxy background, how to make the strip of galaxy and how to do the stamping next to it. I also give you a trick to easily place your images on the paper and pick them up at once to adhere them down!

This card also easily to turn into another theme with the same design. I will show you in a video soon, so keep an eye on my YouTube channel and Instagram page.
