Hello everybody! Heffy Doodle asked me to be a guest designer in the month October and of course I said yes! I made two cards and this one is the first.
I picked out a few supplies from my wishlist and one of those sets is the set with all the cute gulls that is called ‘You Go, Gull’.
Although I love making elaborate scenes, I’m also into making simpler scenes. Thats what I did for this card. Simpler scenes doesn’t mean boring scenes though!
By using good quality materials, pay attention to details and balance your composition, you can create a stunning card even with just a few images.
If you want to know what details I brought into this card to make it into an awesome scene then be sure to check out my video or read it on the Heffy Doodle blog.
Below is an overview of all the supplies I used. I’m not listing things like the type of scissors that I used because I think that’s personal preference, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask!
Hi everyone! I’m back with a new video for you all. This time I made some home decoration for Halloween instead of a card. But I do incorporate the new Lawn Fawn set ‘Purrfectly Wicked’ and its ‘Add-On’ in this project.
I made these magical color shifting potions! I decorated the bottles with some things I found in my craft supplies but I also made fun labels to put on them. The potion brewing images from the ‘Purrfectly Wicked’ set are just perfect for this!
The potions are very fun and easy to make. You can make them in colors that you like and decorate them how you want and with what you have lying around.

Hi everybody! I’m back with some card inspiration for you. I needed some new home cards and since I recently found the ‘Home Sweet Home’ set from Lawn Fawn, I couldn’t wait to create something with those stamps! The set is retired but you might have it in your stash already. Or you might be able to substitute some images!
The design for this card isn’t super new for this set. If you look at the design team examples from this set when it came out quite some years ago, the basic design is the same.
But what I did was look how I could spice it up a little and bring it up to a newer style. That’s why I used the branches and leaves from ‘A Bugs Deal’ instead of those from ‘Home Sweet Home’, to have them a little bigger and with some variation.
Although the cloudy backgrounds have been around for some time now, the colored clouds bring the card to a more modern style. Same goes for the splattering on the background and the use of stitched details!

Hi everyone! I’m back with some more card inspiration for you all. I love interactive cards and I had the pull tab add-on for the Lawn Fawn camera lying around for ages already so I figured it was about time I put it to work.
Although your doing a lot of die cutting and adhering things, I really like how fairly quick this still is. The mechanism is quite fool proof and leaves you without any guess work except for how high you want to adhere the ‘photo’. I always love when it’s easy to work with!
In the video I focus on creating the camera, adding the pull tab and assemble the scene.

Hi everyone! I’m back with another video where I make this super fun summer card. The sky I made for this card is a little different, because I used the ‘Stitched Dens’ from Lawn Fawn for it. But I think it turned out super fun!
In the video I show you how to easily cut all the layers and how I made it into a scene. Of course there is also some coloring and ink blending!

Hey everyone! I’m here to show you my newest card featuring two amazing stamp sets from Mama Elephant. The background is made with some Lawn Fawn and (of course) some Distress Oxides.
It’s a super easy card to make but the end result is (as I say so myself) stunning. It’s so cheerful! Next to the coloring that you can see in the video, I also made another coloring video for the other yeti in the set which you can find on my Instagram or check down below.
Here is also the color guide I made for the yeti. If you want to see more different color guides you should visit and follow my Pinterest board.

I’m here to tell you more about my newest video. I made a card in one of my favorite Lawn Fawn themes; ocean! I was flipping through my stash and my eye fell on the jar from the ‘Bugs and Kisses’ stamp set. I thought it would be cool if the octopus from ‘Ocean Shell-fie’ would hold it in its arms.
With another flip through my stash it was clear; the little ship from ‘Ahoy, Matey’ was the perfect thing to add to the jar!
It’s super easy to stamp the ship in the jar with some simple masking. In the video I show you exactly how I did it. The coloring of the jar and especially the highlights do a lot for the image too. Of course I show that in the video as well.
You might know I love using foam tape on my cards to pop things up and add dimension, but I kept this card really flat. It still has quite some dimension and I show you how I achieved at!
On Instagram I posted a coloring video for the big octopus in purple. You can watch it here or visit my Instagram to watch it.
Here is also the color guide I made for it. If you want to see more different color guides you should visit and follow my Pinterest board.

It’s that time of the month again that it is time for Get Cracking on Christmas. It’s a initiative from Jenn Shurkus to make a monthly Christmas card to enjoy you holiday stamps more and to be a little more prepared for Christmas.
For this month I’m making four cards actually. I kept them really simple but fun to make so that I will still enjoy it. I used the ‘Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait’ die from Lawn Fawn in such a way that you can exchange die cut pieces to make four unique cards with the same design. See, really quick and easy!
With the previous video blog post I also introduced my color guides. With these color guides you will see a quick overview of which Copic colors I used to color in the images on the guide. I will collect these guides on a special Pinterest board for them and post them on my blog when they happen to fit within the theme of the video.
Here are the color guides I made for this video!
Because it’s a ‘special edition’ of Get Cracking On Christmas, because it’s also Christmas in July, I’m giving away the Winter Unicorn stamp set from Lawn Fawn. It was the second Lawn Fawn set I owned so it has a special place in my heart.
If you want to participate in the giveaway, then watch my video to see how you can!

Hi all! With the new Lawn Fawn release I also ordered some older tropical sets that would work great with the new tropical stuff. On this card I used all older stuff, except for the toucans. I also did a lot of ink blending with Distress Oxides, which results in this fun and colorful card!
In the video I show you how I did all the ink blending and die cutting. I also show you how I did some minor masking on the island to eliminate another layer of paper added to the card.
This time I didn’t include the coloring of my images, but if you want some coloring inspiration for the toucans you can check out my video over on Instagram (or check it out below).

Hi everyone! I don’t know about you, but I was excited about the new Lawn Fawn release! The jungle and camping themed supplies are amazingly fun. I especially fell in love with the ‘Build-A-Campsite’ dies, I love that little tent SO much.
I have tons of ideas for scenes with the tent and one that came out extremely cute (if I may say so myself) is this card where the little bears built a blanket fort!
I love all the ‘Build-A-…’ sets from Lawn Fawn to be honest, but they are usually quite a bit of work. With the ‘Build-A-Campsite’ dies you can make a tent within minutes, really! Only if you want to build an actual campsite, it will cost you a little more time.
So, with stamping and coloring some images and die cutting three pieces out of your favorite paper, you have almost made this card. If you want to see every step of the process to make this card, check out my video.
