Oh my, how is it already September? Officially fall starts a little later this month, but here in The Netherlands the weather switched from extremely warm to way cooler already. Also, I’m seeing mushrooms in the forest when I walk the dog so it just feels like fall already.
Therefore I was ready to do a fall card! I recently got the dies for ‘Happy Harvest’ from Lawn Fawn (are you sensing the theme of me slowly completing my coordinating die collection?) and the scarecrow is one of my favorites so I wanted to include him in the card for sure!
Also, I love love love frames on cards. But somehow, I always forget that I have some frame dies. So went for that with this card too!
A few years ago I bought two of the same paper pads which in the end ended up not being my favorite, because the papers turned out way to busy on my cards. When I went through my paper stash I saw the paper pad again and I suddenly thought; what if I would cover it up with vellum?
And guess what. That works like a charm! Definitely going to try that more often.
Below is an overview of the other supplies I used. I’m not showing the obvious ones like scissors and such since I think that speaks for itself, but of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.
